Our Story

We're Emma and Moos, two creatives with a love for clothing design and the outdoors. During one of our hiking trips, a hobby of designing and making clothes got a little out of hand. What started as something we did for fun slowly turned into Heatwave.

We don’t just like being outside; we like to play outside. Whether it’s hiking through the mountains, longboarding through the city, surfing at the coast, or playing games in the park with friends, we’re always looking for ways to get outside and get moving. For us, the outdoors is about adventure, movement, fun and, most importantly, enjoying it together. 

With Heatwave, we want to create comfortable clothing that works for all these activities without compromising on style.

Our Team

The Heatwave Team is just the two of us: Emma and Moos.

From coming up with ideas, designing our clothes and selecting garments to creating content, building the website and running the business, we do it all ourselves. Every part of Heatwave starts with an idea from us and, somewhere along the way, turns into something you can actually wear.

We’re both creative in our own ways, and that’s what makes working together so much fun. We bounce ideas off each other, challenge each other and learn as we go. There’s always something new to figure out, whether it’s a design, a production decision or simply learning another part of running a business.

No big team, no middlemen, just two people turning a hobby into something we genuinely care about and want to keep growing.

Our Mission

We want to create clothing that feels as good as it looks. Every piece is designed by us with comfort, quality and style in mind, while carefully considering its environmental footprint.

We believe good clothing should be made to be worn, loved and kept for a long time. That’s why we focus on thoughtful designs, quality materials and responsible production, creating pieces that fit naturally into everyday life.

The name Heatwave has a meaning beyond the feeling of summer. As heatwaves become more frequent and intense around the world, the name is also a nod to global warming and the changing climate. It’s a reminder that enjoying the outdoors also means caring about the environment we enjoy it in.
